First destination: Isla de Gigantes in Carles, iLoiLo
Getting here: We rode a bus at Tagbak terminal (Jaro) going to Estancia. Fare is PhP171. Travel time is 3-4 hours. So, make sure to get the earliest flight from Manila. From the bus terminal, tricycle ride going to the fishing port (PhP8 per person). Estancia port to Brgy. Lantangan, Isla de Gigantes Sur (PhP150) for a 2-hour boat ride. The pump boat departs once at 2PM so make sure you have to be there by noontime.

You'll never get hungry on your trip..mobile store..^_^ |
There is no accommodation on the island. No electricity. They just rely on generators which they only use at night. I asked a co-passenger on the bus on how to get to Gigantes Island. Luckily, that co-passenger, Nanay Cecil happens to live there. She was the one who helped us on where we could stay there. She offered her cousin's house. We paid PhP500 for an overnight stay but paid separately for the food. They also have a small boat which we used for our island tour the next day.

Last stop: Guimaras
Getting here: Head to Ortiz Port in iLoiLo for a boat ride which would take you to Jordan Wharf, Guimaras. Fare is PhP20 for a 10-minute travel.
From Jordan wharf, you can go around Guimaras by multi-cab, jeepney and tricycle. We opted to rent a tricycle for PhP300 since the tricycle driver offered to be our tour guide as well.
