Zambales: Potipot Island

I was not a travel fanatic back then...until I was asked by one of my office friends,Shake, to join them on their trip to an island in Zambales. According to her, it was the island where Ginebra San Miguel's "Bilog ang Mundo" commercial was shot. Out of curiosity, I gave it a shot to join them.

You can reach the island through a 5-minute boat ride from the beach of Candelaria, Zambales. There are a lot of  accommodations in town in case you do not want to stay on the island. Although there is a caretaker on the island, there is no electricity and no establishments. In our case, we pitched a tent where we could stay overnight.

Since there are no establishments in this island, you really have to bring your own food and drinks. You can go around the island for approximately 30-45 mins. We did enjoy nature in its prime..^_^
