Stayed in Hostel Cosmopolitan located at Jalan Haji Hussein. Paid RM60 (PhP780) for an overnight stay in twin private standard room. Air-conditioned and shared bathroom. What to do and see in Kuala Lumpur? Visit the Petronas Tower..one of the world's tallest buildings.
Shop at the adjacent mall..Suria KLCC. Shoes are on sale at Vincci (VNC) costing around RM22-25 (PhP280-325)..Talk about panic buying..hahahaha!
Dined at Mcdo..meals cost RM10 (PhP130) but servings are huge..:)
Go visit also Batu Temple. From Hostel Cosmopolitan, we rode a cab costing us RM10 (Php130)
Luckily during our visit, it was also the time that the Hindus and Tamils are holding their annual Thaipusam Festival.
Thaipusam Festival is the feast for the son of Shiva, Lord Subramaniam. All those who participated in this festival carry offerings towards the temple. They wish to ask for future favor, fulfill a vow for the granted wish and repent for past sins.
